What is Oasis Housing?

Oasis Housing is a nonprofit organization that provides safe, supportive, and quality housing for adults living with mental illness. Our goal is to help residents experience stability, dignity, connection, and a greater sense of independence in a caring home environment.

Who does Oasis Housing serve?

We serve adults living with mental illness who need safe and supportive housing. Many of the individuals we support benefit from a stable home, daily encouragement, community connection, and assistance with everyday living needs.

What type of housing does Oasis provide?

Oasis Housing provides transitional and permanent supportive housing in a compassionate, family-style environment. Our homes are designed to offer safety, stability, respect, and a sense of belonging.

Is Oasis Housing a treatment facility?

No. Oasis Housing is not a hospital or clinical treatment facility. We provide housing and supportive daily care, while residents may continue working with their doctors, therapists, case managers, or other mental health professionals.

What kind of support do residents receive?

Residents may receive support with daily living needs, encouragement toward independence, shared meals, social connection, activities, and a safe environment built on dignity and respect. Our goal is to help each person feel supported and truly at home.

How can someone apply for housing or make a referral?

If you are interested in housing for yourself, a loved one, or someone you support, please contact us directly. We can discuss current availability, needs, eligibility, and next steps in the process.

Is Oasis Housing an emergency shelter?

No. Oasis Housing is not an emergency shelter or crisis service. If someone is in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health crisis, please call 911, go to the nearest emergency room, or contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

Can family members or caregivers be involved?

Yes. Family members and caregivers can be an important part of a resident’s support system. When appropriate and with respect for privacy, we welcome communication and involvement that helps residents feel supported and cared for.

How can I support Oasis Housing?

You can support Oasis Housing by making a donation, sharing our mission, volunteering when opportunities are available, or helping with current needs. Every gift helps provide safe housing, daily support, and a caring environment for residents.

What is the Vision Project?

The Vision Project is Oasis Housing’s effort to expand supportive housing so we can serve more individuals and families impacted by mental illness. This project will help create long-term, trauma-informed housing where residents can find stability, community, and hope.
